System Happel is again VDMA certified
We are pleased about receiving the VDMA certification for our milking system service again!
The focus is clearly on milk quality and profitability during milk production. Good training measures for the service personnel not only guarantee a longer useful life of the milking system, but also a better milk quality for lower operating costs.
The Köllitsch research institute conducted a study in a 2x7 herringbone milking parlour. One side was equipped with conventional milking technology with a constant vacuum. For comparison, the other side was equipped with the System Happel AktivPuls milking unit with vacuum relief.
The result was clear: Within only 4 months, the teat conditions improved significantly. Hyperkeratoses and ring formations on the teats were reduced by milking with the AktivPuls® milking units. This is the scientific proof of the system's positive impact during milking.
We received top marks in the milking technology survey conducted by trade magazine topagrar, in which almost 2,000 readers participated. Happel technology came first in 17 of 23 evaluations.
Also in the category customer satisfaction, System Happel received the best results from all manufacturers.
At a function on the occasion of the 8th International Conference for Construction, Technology and Environment in Agricultural Productive Livestock Husbandry in Bonn, Mr Werner Happel, Friesenried, was honoured with the Max Eyth commemorative medal.
In his honorific speech, Dr Ludger Frerichs, chairman of the VDI MEG, emphasised the great merits in the area of technical developments in milking engineering, in particular in combining technology with the well-being of the animal during the milking process.
Werner Happel, owner of the company System Happel GmbH, was delighted about the congratulations from Carl-Albrecht Bartmer, President of the DLG (German Agricultural Society).
The award was conferred at the EuroTier in November.
Specialised journalists from 7 magazines awarded the Bulli® claw piece with the prize as
Novelty in Milking Technology for its innovative design that ensures gentle milk transport and a high milk yield per minute.
During the development of the Bulli® claw piece, special attention was placed on achieving gentle and quick transport through the claw piece even of maximum milk flows.
